CONGRATULATING THE SUMTER COUNTY REGISTER OF MESNE CONVEYANCE DEPARTMENT ON BEING CHOSEN TO RECEIVE AN AWARD OF ACHIEVEMENT FROM THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF ARCHIVES AND HISTORY.
Whereas, the Sumter County Register of Mesne Conveyance Department has been chosen to receive an Award of Achievement as part of the Local Government Archives and Records Management Awards program from the South Carolina Department of Archives and History; and
Whereas, this is a new awards program designed to recognize outstanding work in historical records preservation and records management at the local level; and
Whereas, the Sumter County Register of Mesne Conveyance Department is headed by Mr. Don Johnson, and this department does a superb job in the area of records management and is highly deserving of recognition. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates the Sumter County Register of Mesne Conveyance Department on being chosen to receive an Award of Achievement from the South Carolina Department of Archives and History.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Sumter County Register of Mesne Conveyance Department.
