A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING THE WILLISTON-ELKO BLUE DEVILS BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM OF BARNWELL COUNTY ON WINNING THE 1995 STATE CLASS A BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, the Williston-Elko Blue Devils Boys Basketball Team of Barnwell County captured the 1995 State Class A Basketball Championship by defeating Great Falls; and

Whereas, led by Coach Dwayne Hartsoe, the Blue Devils posted an excellent 21-10 win-loss record; and

Whereas, this achievement could not have been possible without the full support of the parents, school administrators, teachers, coaching staff, students, and the residents of Barnwell County School District 29. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina congratulate the Williston-Elko Blue Devils Boys Basketball Team of Barnwell County on winning the 1995 State Class A Basketball Championship.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Coach Hartsoe.
