A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND MARY MARGARET MOSRIE, ASSISTANT STAFF COUNSEL, FOR HER DEDICATED YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION FOR A JOB WELL DONE, AND TO WISH HER GODSPEED IN HER NEW ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, Mary Margaret Mosrie began her career with the South Carolina Legislature as a law clerk during the 1989 Session and continued her service by becoming Assistant Staff Counsel to the Judiciary Committee in 1990; and

Whereas, Mary Margaret is a conscientious, diligent team worker who works well under pressure and who has served two Speakers and three Judiciary Committee Chairmen in an able and efficient manner worthy of note; and

Whereas, Mary Margaret is a person who has welcomed new challenges and worked eagerly on a number of critical issues including the Ethics Conference Committee, House reapportionment, and the restructuring of state government, and on issues of adult crime; and

Whereas, Mary Margaret is moving to Knoxville, Tennessee, to be with her young son Ben and her husband Brian as he enters his residency program as a family practitioner; and

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives would like to take this opportunity to express their deepest appreciation to Mary Margaret Mosrie for a job well done and to wish her Godspeed in all future endeavors. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, express their deepest appreciation to Mary Margaret Mosrie for her many years of dedicated and conscientious service as Assistant Staff Counsel to the Judiciary Committee and to wish her Godspeed in all future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mary Margaret Mosrie.
