A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROPRIATE TWENTY-FIVE MILLION DOLLARS FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE STATE TO THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO REPLACE THE AMOUNT OF SHIMS REVENUES DIVERTED TO PAY FOR THE HURRICANE HUGO NOTE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the general fund of the State the sum of twenty-five million dollars to the State Highway Fund to replace SHIMS gasoline and other motor fuels tax revenues diverted to pay off the Hurricane Hugo note pursuant to Section 129.65, Part I, Act 501 of 1992.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
