CONGRATULATING JAMES WILLIAM MCNEILL III OF AIKEN COUNTY FOR BEING CHOSEN THE 1995-96 TEACHER OF THE YEAR.
Whereas, James William McNeill III of Aiken County has been chosen the 1995-96 Teacher of the Year; and
Whereas, Mr. McNeill has impressively represented Aiken County public schools at the state level on various education issues; and
Whereas, he has been a history teacher for thirteen years, and he clearly holds the profession of teaching in the highest regard and executes his duties accordingly; and
Whereas, he has made a great contribution to education in this State, and the citizens of South Carolina are indeed fortunate to have James William McNeill III endeavoring in such an important capacity; and
Whereas, we are greatly please to have this opportunity to accord this outstanding individual special recognition. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates James William McNeill III of Aiken County for being chosen the 1995-96 Teacher of the Year.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. McNeill.
