-- Credit Union Act of 1996. Effective May 29, 1996. Any credit union incorporated or formed before the effective date of this act, as provided by law, shall be considered as a valid and lawfully organized credit union but hereafter must comply with the provisions of Chapter 26 of Title 34 as added herein.
