29     TO AMEND SECTION 12-28-2740, AS AMENDED, OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO THE DISTRIBUTION AND USE
30     OF "C" FUND GASOLINE TAX REVENUES, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT EARNINGS ON THE COUNTY
31     TRANSPORTATION FUND MUST BE CREDITED TO A COUNTY'S ACCOUNT IN THE PROPORTION THAT THE
32     COUNTY'S MOST RECENT MONTH-END CASH BALANCE IN THE FUND IS OF THE TOTAL OF SUCH MONTH-END

35     A.  The last paragraph of Section 12-28-2740(A) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 117 of 1997, is further amended to read:

 1           "All earnings on the County Transportation Fund in the State Treasury must be added to the distribution to counties under this section
 2     in the ratio proportion that the county's annual distribution month-end cash balance in the fund is of the total of these distributions
 3     statewide such month-end balances.  These distributions of earnings and the calculation required to determine the appropriate amount shall
 4     not include those counties administering their own  C' funds."
