25     SECTION 5N - H59 - TECHNICAL & COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATION BOARD

27         5N.1.     (TEC: Real Property Acquisition)  Before any local technical education area commission may acquire any real property, the
28     approval of the State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education and the State Budget and Control Board and the Joint Bond
29     Review Committee shall be obtained.
30         5N.2.     (TEC: Training of New & Expanding Industry)  Notwithstanding the amounts appropriated in this section for "Special Schools",
31     it is the intent of the General Assembly that the State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education expend whatever available funds
32     as are necessary to provide direct training for new and expanding business or industry.  In the event expenditures are above the
33     appropriation, the appropriation in this section for "Special Schools" shall be appropriately adjusted, if and only if, revenues exceed
34     projections and the Budget and Control Board approves the adjustment.


SECTION 5N - H59 - TECHNICAL & COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATION PAGE 413 1 5N.3. (TEC: Training of New & Expanded Industry Carry Forward) In addition to the funds appropriated in this section, any of the 2 funds appropriated under this section for the prior fiscal year which are not expended during that fiscal year may be carried forward and 3 expended for direct training of new and expanding industry in the current fiscal year. 4 5N.4. (TEC: Training for New and Expanded Industry - Payments of Prior Year Expenditures) The State Board for Technical and 5 Comprehensive Education may reimburse business and industry for prior year training costs billed to the agency after fiscal year closing 6 with the concurrence of the Comptroller General. 7 5N.5. (TEC: Motorcycle Rider Safety Program) DELETED 8
