TO EXPRESS THE GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA SENATE TO OUR LOYAL OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE, MARY NELL KREPS, FOR HER DEDICATION TO HER PROFESSION AND TO OFFER A SPECIAL THANK YOU FOR HER UNBOUNDED COMMITMENT AND ENCOURAGEMENT ON GOOD HEALTH AND PREVENTIVE CARE TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND ITS STAFF.
Whereas, Mary Nell Kreps is a vanguard in health education and is highly respected by her colleagues; and
Whereas, Mary Nell graduated from Camden High School and continued her education at the University of South Carolina/ Columbia Hospital School of Nursing earning an RN degree and further Graduate School Surgery/Operating Room Technique; and
Whereas, Mary Nell is a wonderful mother, grandmother, and has adopted most, if not all, the staff in the Senate; and
Whereas, she serves as a counseling nurse for various state law enforcement agencies and has shown her compassion to care for others by volunteering her time, talent, and love to numerous organizations; and
Whereas, Mary Nell is an excellent nurse who tirelessly commits herself to her work and the health of all who darken the doors of the Nurses' Station; and
Whereas, we are told that Mary Nell loves to play bridge more than eating and she adores eating; and
Whereas, not only is she an outstanding lady, she is a devoted nurse, friend, advisor, and listener to countless individuals; and
Whereas, we are greatly pleased to have this opportunity to salute her and accord her special recognition for her commitment to health education in South Carolina. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate express gratitude and appreciation to their loyal Occupational Health Nurse, Mary Nell Kreps, for her dedication to her profession and to offer a special thank you for her unbounded commitment and encouragement on good health and preventive care to the General Assembly and its staff.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mary Nell Kreps.
