A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 42-7-310, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE STATE'S WORKERS' COMPENSATION LAW AND THE SECOND INJURY FUND, SO AS TO PROVIDE, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THAT THE SECOND INJURY FUND SHALL OPERATE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE RATHER THAN THE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 42-7-310 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Section 995 of Act 181 of 1993, is further amended to read:

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
