COMMENDING AND THANKING FRANCIS MARION CARNS FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE IRMO FIRE DISTRICT.
Whereas, Francis Marion Carns is retiring from the Irmo Fire District, where he served as volunteer firefighter and officer for twenty-one years; and
Whereas, Mr. Carns took time from his family and other personal obligations to devote to the citizens of the Irmo Fire District; and
Whereas, he is an outstanding individual and is highly deserving of an expression of sincere appreciation for his excellent service to his community at this time of his retirement. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commends and thanks Francis Marion Carns for his dedicated service to the Irmo Fire District.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Carns.
