South Carolina General Assembly
112th Session, 1997-1998
Journal of the House of Representatives

Friday, June 13, 1997
(Local Session)

Indicates Matter Stricken
Indicates New Matter

The House assembled at 10:00 A.M.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by the Chaplain of the House of Representatives, the Rev. Dr. Alton C. Clark as follows:

We thank You, Heavenly Father, for these quiet moments of prayer. Show us that wisdom may come in silence as in speaking, in waiting as in working, in walking as in running. May no moment be wasted, no session be unimportant, no work devoid of meaning, no task without significance. Keep our minds focused on Your truths and our wills open to Your way. Hold before us worthy goals and move us to an increasing commitment to selfless service.
And, so may we legislate under Your guidance and with Your help. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.

ADJOURNMENT

At 10:05 A.M. the House in accordance with S. 811, the Sine Die Adjournment Resolution, adjourned to meet Monday, June 16, at 10:00 A.M.
