A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT THE DEATH OF MR. ROY TRENTON "R.T." BREWER OF MANNING AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, Mr. Roy Trenton "R.T." Brewer of Manning died Friday, January 28, 2000; and

Whereas, "R.T." Brewer was born in Manning, the son of the late Earlie Heyward Brewer and the late Naomi Ella Haley Brewer; and

Whereas, he was a Senior Line and Service Representative with Carolina Power and Light Company with thirty-six years of loyal and dedicated service; and

Whereas, Mr. Brewer was a former member of the Army National Guard, a devoted member of the United Methodist Church, and a proud member of St. Peter's Masonic Lodge Number 54, AFM; and

Whereas, "R.T." Brewer was the loving husband of Brenda Elois McLeod Brewer and the beloved father of Stephanie Marie Brewer, Phyllis Michelle Brewer, and Monica Jane Brewer; and

Whereas, he was a well-respected member of the community and loved by all who knew him; his presence will be greatly missed. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That, by this resolution, the members of the General Assembly express their sorrow at the death of Mr. Roy Trenton "R.T." Brewer of Manning and extend sympathy to his family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Brenda Elois McLeod Brewer of Manning.
