A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NOT CONDUCT VEGETATION MANAGEMENT OF THE MEDIANS, ROADSIDES, AND INTERCHANGES PURSUANT TO SECTION 57-23-800, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, ALONG THE STATE'S SEGMENT OF INTERSTATE 85 AND ITS OFFICIALLY DESIGNATED SPURS.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly request the Department of Transportation to not conduct vegetation management of the medians, roadsides, and interchanges pursuant to Section 57-23-800, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, along the state's segment of Interstate 85 and its officially designated spurs.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
