A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO AUTHORIZE PALMETTO GIRLS STATE TO USE THE CHAMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ON THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 2000, AND FRIDAY, JUNE 16, 2000.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That Palmetto Girls State is authorized to use the chamber of the South Carolina House of Representatives on Thursday, June 15, 2000, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and on Friday, June 16, 2000, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for its annual legislative activity. If the House of Representatives is in statewide session, the chamber may not be used.

Be it further resolved that the State House security forces shall provide assistance and access as necessary for this meeting in accordance with previous procedures.

Be it further resolved that Palmetto Girls State shall be granted access to and use of the chamber in accordance with the guidelines and requirements as the Clerk of the House of Representatives shall direct.

Be it further resolved that no charges may be made for the use of the chamber of the House of Representatives by Palmetto Girls State on these dates.
