A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO SUSPEND FOR ONE YEAR ANY RESTRICTIONS ON OR PROHIBITIONS AGAINST THE ADVISORY COORDINATING COUNCIL FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT USING PUBLIC FUNDS TO PURCHASE OPTIONS TO ACQUIRE REAL PROPERTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any restrictions on or prohibitions against the Advisory Coordinating Council for Economic Development within the Department of Commerce using public funds to purchase options to acquire real property are suspended for one year from the date of this joint resolution's effective date.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
