A BILL

TO AMEND CHAPTER 21, TITLE 50, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO EQUIPMENT AND OPERATION OF WATERCRAFT, BY ADDING SECTION 50-21-151, SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR A NO WAKE ZONE ON A PORTION OF THE LITTLE PEE DEE RIVER.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1.    Chapter 21, Title 50 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

    "Section 50-21-151.    There is established a no wake zone on all of that portion of the Little Pee Dee River beginning at the Highway 76 bridge across the Little Pee Dee River and extending northwest to the headwaters of the Little Pee Dee River. These boundaries must be clearly marked with signs designed and installed as specified by the department."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
