TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR DELORIS C. WILMORE OF CHESTER COUNTY FOR HER MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE AND VITAL CONTRIBUTIONS AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT, AND TO WISH HER MUCH SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN THE YEARS TO COME.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina recognize the many and varied contributions of Deloris C. Wilmore who retired after thirty-one years of devoted service to the citizens of Chester County; and
Whereas, Ms. Wilmore began her career of service at the Department of Social Services in 1970, in Child Protective Services and Adoptions. After moving to the Department of Health and Human Services Community Long Term Care program, she eventually returned to the Department of Social Services in the area of Family Independence; and
Whereas, Ms. Wilmore ultimately retired from the position of Economic Services Coordinator, providing leadership and supervision to the Family Independence, Food Stamps, and Food Stamps Claims staffs; and
Whereas, Deloris Wilmore demonstrated abounding knowledge of the vital programs of the Department of Social Services and was an integral member of the office in terms of her information, dedication, and supervisory skills; and
Whereas, the Chester County Department of Social Services will greatly miss Deloris Wilmore's impeccable ethical standards, professionalism, and cheerful spirit; and
Whereas, the children and families of Chester County and the State of South Carolina who are fortunate enough to have encountered Ms. Wilmore are indebted to her for her outstanding contributions. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and honor Deloris C. Wilmore of Chester County for her many years of dedicated service and vital contributions as an employee of the Department of Social Services on the occasion of her retirement and wish her much success and happiness in the years to come.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Deloris C. Wilmore of Chester County.
