A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME THE BRIDGE LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 123 AND SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY 11 IN OCONEE COUNTY THE "ROBERT E. LEE BRIDGE", AND TO ERECT APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS.

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, requests the Department of Transportation to name the bridge at the intersection of United States Highway 123 and South Carolina Highway 11 in Oconee County the "Robert E. Lee Bridge" and to erect appropriate signs or markers.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
