TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND MS. JERALYN K. FALLAW OF LEXINGTON COUNTY FOR HER MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED AND UNSELFISH PUBLIC SERVICE IN THE CLEMSON UNIVERSITY COOPERATIVE EXTENSION OFFICE IN LEXINGTON COUNTY, AND TO WISH HER GOOD HEALTH AND MUCH HAPPINESS UPON HER RETIREMENT.
Whereas, Ms. Jeralyn K. Fallaw has worked for the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Office in Lexington County for thirty-two years; and
Whereas, Ms. Fallaw has tirelessly served her community, state, and nation by providing much needed nutrition, food safety, and food preservation education progams to countless Lexington County families, adults, and children; and
Whereas, Jeralyn K. Fallaw has been honored by many groups over the years for her dedication, diligence, and service to the State, receiving numerous awards that reflect her comprehensive knowledge and subject matter expertise in all facets of diet and nutrition, including the South Carolina and National Association of Extension Home Economists Distinguished Service Award, the Epsilon Sigma Phi Meritorious Service Award, and the South Carolina Food Service Association Lucille Barnett Nutrition Award; and
Whereas, Ms. Fallaw's caring and compassionate personality made her the ideal person to serve as the county's point of contact for such vital and potentially life saving information; and
Whereas, Lexington County and the State of South Carolina are indebted to Jeralyn Fallaw for her generous contributions to the youth, families, and citizens privileged to know this lovely lady; and
Whereas, it is fitting and proper for the members of the House of Representatives to pause in their deliberations to recognize so distinguished a daughter of South Carolina upon the occasion of her well-deserved retirement. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina recognize and commend Ms. Jeralyn K. Fallaw of Lexington County for her many years of dedicated and unselfish public service in the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Office in Lexington County, and to wish her good health and much happiness upon her retirement.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Jeralyn K. Fallaw.
