A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME PARTICULAR INTERCHANGES IN HORRY COUNTY AFTER EACH BRANCH OF THE MILITARY SERVICES OF THE UNITED STATES.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the Department of Transportation is requested to name the below-referenced interchanges after each specified branch of the military services as follows:

    (1)    Intersection of SC 22 and SC 319 - United States Army;

    (2)    Intersection of SC 22 and SC 22 and US 701 - United States Marine Corps;

    (3)    Intersection of SC 22 and SC 905 - United States Navy;

    (4)    Intersection of SC 22 and SC 90 - United States Air Force; and

    (5)    Intersection of SC 22 and Coastal Bays Parkway - United States Coast Guard.

Be it resolved that the Department of Transportation is further requested to install appropriate markers or signs at these intersections, as the department considers appropriate.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
