A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE PROFOUND SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO THE FAMILY OF MRS. CHRISTINE G. VALLIERE OF ORANGE CITY, FLORIDA, MOTHER OF OUR DEAR FRIEND, MR. EDWARD T. McMULLEN, UPON HER RECENT DEATH.

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives were deeply saddened to learn of the death Mrs. Christine G. Valliere of Orange City, Florida, on May 25, 2002; and

Whereas, Mrs. Valliere was the beloved wife of Mr. Stephen Valliere, the loving mother of our friend, Mr. Edward T. McMullen of Columbia, South Carolina, and his brother, Mr. Everette J. McMullen of Rocky Point, New York, and the cherished grandmother of five adoring grandchildren; and

Whereas, this lovely lady touched the lives of many people, and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her; and

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, would like to extend sincere condolences to Mrs. Valliere's entire family. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina express profound sorrow upon the recent death of Mrs. Christine G. Valliere of Orange City, Florida, and extend heartfelt sympathy to her family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the family of Mrs. Valliere in care of our dear friend, Mr. Edward T. McMullen.
