A HOUSE RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE CONGRATULATIONS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO MR. SEAN MICAH CAUTHEN OF KERSHAW IN LANCASTER COUNTY ON HIS EARNING THE EAGLE SCOUT AWARD TO BE PRESENTED IN CEREMONIES AT THE SECOND BAPTIST CHURCH IN KERSHAW.

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives have learned that Mr. Sean Micah Cauthen of Kershaw in Lancaster County, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Cauthen, has earned the Eagle Scout Award which will be presented to him at ceremonies held at the Second Baptist Church in Kershaw; and

Whereas, Mr. Cauthen, a member of Troop 74, has distinguished himself in Scouting, as evidenced by his receipt of Scouting's highest award, and especially in his Eagle Project - cleaning and repainting the preschool and Scout building at the Second Baptist Church in Kershaw; and

Whereas, in his school career, he has compiled an outstanding record both academically and in his extra curricular activities, and will be furthering his education at Clemson University; and

Whereas, it is appropriate for members of the House of Representatives to pause in their deliberations so that they may express their congratulations to Mr. Sean Micah Cauthen for his hard work and dedication in earning the coveted Eagle Scout Award and in all that he represents in the pride that he has justly brought upon himself and his family, his fellow Scouts, and to his native State. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives express their congratulations to Mr. Sean Micah Cauthen of Kershaw in Lancaster County on his earning the Eagle Scout Award to be presented in ceremonies at the Second Baptist Church in Kershaw.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Sean Micah Cauthen.
