TO AMEND SECTION 1-11-22, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE ORGANIZATION OF THE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A REFERENCE IN THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA TO A SPECIFIC BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD DIVISION, OFFICE, PROGRAM, OFFICER, OR EMPLOYEE MEANS "BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD" AND IS SUBSTITUTED FOR THAT RESPECTIVE DIVISION, OFFICE, PROGRAM, OFFICER, OR EMPLOYEE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 1-11-22 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"Section 1-11-22. (A) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Budget and Control Board may organize its staff as it deems most appropriate to carry out the various duties, responsibilities, and authorities assigned to it and to its various divisions.
(B) A reference in the Code of Laws of South Carolina to a specific Budget and Control Board division, office, program, officer, or employee means the Budget and Control Board and is substituted for the respective division, office, program, officer, or employer."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
