TO SUSPEND THE CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS OF ACT 101 OF 1999, WHICH REQUIRES AN INDIVIDUAL TO BE CERTIFIED BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA RADIATION QUALITY STANDARDS ASSOCIATION TO USE IONIZING RADIATION OR EQUIPMENT ON HUMANS FOR DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The certification requirements provided for in Act 101 of 1999, requiring an individual to be certified by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association to use ionizing radiation or equipment on humans for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes are suspended through June 30, 2004.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
