A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE AND THANK FOREST M. "MAC" MARCATO OF MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA, FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO HIGHWAY SAFETY AND THE SAVING OF LIVES IN SOUTH CAROLINA, AND TO EXTEND BEST WISHES TO HIM IN ALL OF HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, Forest M. "Mac" Marcato of Montgomery, Alabama, served as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and is an inventor and innovator devoted to the study and development of means of improvement of highway safety; and

Whereas, by his perseverance, study, and long-term testing, Mr. Marcato has developed a contribution to highway safety and the saving of lives, especially in inclement and adverse weather conditions, whenever his ideas are used; and

Whereas, the Senate extends its wishes to Forest "Mac" Marcato to continue his lifetime efforts in the development of these highway safety offerings and hope that these innovations will make improvements and valuable contributions towards highway safety not only in the Palmetto State, but across the nation as well. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and thank Forest M. "Mac" Marcato of Montgomery, Alabama, for his contributions to highway safety and the saving of lives in South Carolina, and extend best wishes to him in all of his future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Forest "Mac" Marcato of Montgomery, Alabama.
