A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES TO DEVELOP A PREFERRED PRESCRIPTION DRUG LIST FOR DISTRIBUTION TO HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS SERVING MEDICAID PATIENTS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The Department of Health and Human Services shall develop a preferred prescription drug list, which the department must distribute to health care providers serving Medicaid patients.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
