A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO EXTEND THE PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO SKIPP PEARSON OF RICHLAND COUNTY ON THURSDAY, JUNE 5, 2003, AT A TIME TO BE DETERMINED BY THE SPEAKER, FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECOGNIZING AND CONGRATULATING HIM ON HIS SELECTION AS WINNER OF THE 2003 ELIZABETH O'NEILL VERNER AWARD IN RECOGNITION OF HIS CONSUMMATE SKILL IN PLAYING THE JAZZ SAXOPHONE AND SHARING HIS MASTERY WITH OTHERS.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the privilege of the floor of the South Carolina House of Representatives is extended to Skipp Pearson of Richland County on Thursday, June 5, 2003, at a time to be determined by the Speaker, for the purpose of recognizing and congratulating him on his selection as winner of the 2003 Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award in recognition of his consummate skill in playing the jazz saxophone and sharing his mastery with others.
