VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
EXPRESSING THE APPRECIATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR THE OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY SERVICE OF MR. KENNETH L. TONEY OF SPARTANBURG COUNTY.
Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives either have eaten at or heard of the World Famous Flounder Fish Camp in Spartanburg County; and
Whereas, besides the endless work of feeding much of the up country on a regular basis, Mr. Toney makes time for community service, including his work as a volunteer for the North Spartanburg Fire District since 1978, where he has been active in firefighting and as part of ambulance Rescue 9 and has put his special skills as a photographer to use on behalf of the district, using his own equipment to provide this invaluable service; and
Whereas, in addition to his efforts on behalf of the North Spartanburg Fire District, Ken Toney is a man the community can and does turn to for every need and he responds gladly; and
Whereas, it is appropriate for the members of the House of Representatives to pause in their deliberations so they might note and express their appreciation for the community service of so distinguished a South Carolinian. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, express their appreciation for the outstanding community service of Mr. Kenneth L. Toney of Spartanburg County.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be mailed to Mr. Kenneth L. Toney.
