The House assembled at 10:00 a.m.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr. as follows:

Our thought for today is from Psalm 63:7: "In the shadow of Your wings, I sing for joy."
Let us pray. Our times are in Your hands, Lord. Guide us in our day of working and our day of relationships with our co-workers, that Your hand will be ever on us, guiding, directing, and sustaining in all we do and say. Bless our leaders, staff, and all who assist in carrying out the duties of this body. Invoke divine care for our President and for our troops as they strive for freedom of Your people. Hear our prayer. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.
