The Senate assembled at 11:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned, and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator JACKSON.

The following Bills were read the third time and having received three readings in both Houses, it was ordered that the titles be changed to that of Acts and enrolled for Ratification:

MOTION ADOPTED

On motion of Senator WALDREP, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Mr. James Douglas Huff, Sr. of Anderson, S.C., one of America's Greatest Generation, who served as a sergeant in the U. S. Marine Corps and participated in action against the enemy at Iwo Jima during World War II.
