A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO PROVIDE THAT THE SEASON FOR THE COMMERCIAL FISHING FOR SHAD IN THE COMBAHEE RIVER AND ITS TRIBUTARIES AND DISTRIBUTARIES AS PRESCRIBED IN SECTION 50-5-1506, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, FOR THE YEAR 2005 ONLY EXPIRES ON APRIL 30, 2005, RATHER THAN MARCH 31, 2005.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the season for the commercial fishing for shad in the Combahee River and its tributaries and distributaries as prescribed in Section 50-5-1506 of the 1976 Code for the year 2005 only expires on April 30, 2005, rather than on March 31, 2005.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
