To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (H. 4765) to authorize Palmetto Boys State to use the chambers of the House of Representatives and the Senate on Friday, June 16, 2006, from 11:30 a.m., etc., respectfully
Has polled the Concurrent Resolution out majority favorable.
TO AUTHORIZE PALMETTO BOYS STATE TO USE THE CHAMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE SENATE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 16, 2006, FROM 11:30 A.M. TO 12:30 P.M. FOR ITS ANNUAL STATE HOUSE MEETING.
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That Palmetto Boys State is authorized to use the chambers of the House of Representatives and the Senate on Friday, June 16, 2006, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for its annual State House meeting. If either House is in statewide session on this date or its chamber is otherwise unavailable, that chamber may not be used.
Be it further resolved that the State House security forces shall provide assistance and access as necessary for this meeting in accordance with previous procedures.
Be it further resolved that no charges may be made for the use of the House and Senate chambers by Palmetto Boys State on this date.
