TO COMMEND MASTER DEPUTY TERRY D. SNEAD OF THE LEXINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE OF LEXINGTON COUNTY AND SOUTH CAROLINA AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, AND TO CONGRATULATE HIM ON THIS SPECIAL OCCASION OF HIS BEING SELECTED AS DEPUTY OF THE YEAR BY THE LEXINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S FOUNDATION.
Whereas, the members of the Senate are keenly aware of the extraordinary contribution that law enforcement officers such as Master Deputy Terry Snead make to their communities in protecting the lives and property of their fellow citizens, sometimes at the risk of their own life, health, and safety; and
Whereas, Master Deputy Terry Snead is being recognized by the Lexington County Sheriff's Foundation as its Deputy of the Year; this is an outstanding award to bestow on this very worthy officer; and
Whereas, Master Deputy Terry Snead deserves this honor for his exceptional dedication to the people of Lexington County as Master Deputy. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate, by this resolution, commend Master Deputy Terry D. Snead of the Lexington County Sheriff's Department for his years of dedicated service to the people of Lexington County and South Carolina as a law enforcement officer, and to congratulate him on the special occasion of being selected as the Deputy of the Year by the Lexington County Sheriff's Foundation.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Sergeant Terry Snead of Lexington.
