AN ACT TO DEVOLVE THE AUTHORITY TO APPOINT THE MEMBERS OF THE RICHLAND COUNTY RECREATION COMMISSION FROM THE RICHLAND COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION TO THE GOVERNING BODY OF RICHLAND COUNTY AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE TERMS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION APPOINTED BY THE RICHLAND COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION EXPIRE ON JUNE 30, 2005.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Appointment authority devolved; expiration of terms
SECTION 1. The authority to make the appointment of the members of the Richland County Recreation Commission is devolved from the Richland County Legislative Delegation to the governing body of Richland County. The terms of the members of the commission appointed by the Richland County Legislative Delegation expire on June 30, 2005.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 26th day of May, 2005.
Approved the 1st day of June, 2005.
