The House assembled at 10:00 a.m.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rep. HOSEY as follows:

Our thought for today is from Psalm 145:18: "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth". Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for rest and strength. Renew us for service by the renewal of our minds. Make us humble and obedient to You. Keep us all mindful that we are dependent on one another. Cause us to work for the good of all in this State. Bless our Nation and State. Provide our President, our Governor, and all who lead with wisdom and strength. Keep our defenders of freedom in Your protective care. Hear our prayer Oh Lord, Amen.

Pursuant to Rule 6.3, the House of Representatives was led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America by the SPEAKER.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.
