The House assembled at 10:00 a.m.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:
Our thought for today is from Proverbs 11:27: "He who seeks good finds good will, but evil comes to him who searches for it."
Let us pray. Dear Father, thank You for Your guidance and direction during this week. Show us Your will in our lives as we work together with others to accomplish that which You have given us. Give us good rest and relaxation this weekend and refresh us with energy for continued service and devotion to You and the people we serve. Bless our Nation, President, State, Governor and leaders. Protect our defenders of freedom as they protect us. In the name of our Lord. Amen.
