A BILL

TO REPEAL SECTIONS 56-5-6510, 56-5-6520, 56-5-6525, AS AMENDED, 56-5-6530, AS AMENDED, 56-5-6540, AS AMENDED, 56-5-6550, AND 56-5-6565, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE MANDATORY USE OF A SAFETY BELT BY CERTAIN DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS OF CERTAIN MOTOR VEHICLES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Sections 56-5-6510, 56-5-6520, 56-5-6525, 56-5-6530, 56-5-6540, 56-5-6550, and 56-5-6565 of the 1976 Code are repealed.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
