A HOUSE RESOLUTION

RECOGNIZING FAIRFIELD COUNTY'S RICHARD WINN ACADEMY EAGLES GOLF TEAM ON CAPTURING THE 2007 SOUTH CAROLINA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL ASSOCIATION CLASS AA TITLE, AND APPLAUDING THE EAGLES ON THEIR STELLAR TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL PLAY UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF COACHES KEN ATKERSON AND MARK CHAPMAN.

Whereas, the Richard Winn Academy Eagles golf team captured the 2007 South Carolina Independent School Association Class AA Title; and

Whereas, the team finished the season with an overall record of 19-1-1, captured the Region VII Championship, and was undefeated in regional competition; and

Whereas, under the outstanding leadership of coaches Ken Atkerson and Mark Chapman, the members of the 2007 Eagles golf team are: Brandon Truesdale, Mikey Bunting, Addison Cudd, Bryson Pope, Caleb Chapman, and Brent Silvia; and

Whereas, golf coaches Ken Atkerson and Mark Chapman have put together a tough golf program at Richard Winn Academy, with a bright future for continued success in state championship play. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize Fairfield County's Richard Winn Academy Eagles golf team on capturing the 2007 South Carolina Independent Association Class AA Title, and applaud the Eagles on their stellar team and individual play under the guidance of coaches Ken Atkerson and Mark Chapman.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Richard Winn Academy Eagles golf team, coaching staff, and other school representatives.
