A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO CELEBRATE EVERYDAY WOMEN THROUGH "EXPRESSION OF GRACE" AND TO RECOGNIZE THE VISION AND CONTRIBUTION OF RALPHINE BENNETT BOSTON AS SHE LEADS THE CHARGE TO HONOR THE POWER AND ACHIEVEMENT OF EVERYDAY WOMEN.

Whereas, "Expression of Grace" recognizes everyday women and their contributions to our communities; and

Whereas, as an extraordinary everyday woman, Ralphine Bennett Boston has a vision that "everyday women should be recognized and others become strong". This vision is the focus of "Expression of Grace"; and

Whereas, everyday women are mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends, and "Expression of Grace" honors the manner in which these women bring compassion and integrity to our communities and help teach our children good values; and

Whereas, women of today are fortunate to follow in the footsteps of others who opened the doors of advanced learning for women as we continue to shape the world's destiny and forge new paths on our own; and

Whereas, "Expression of Grace" recognizes the many ways women strengthen and enrich the world and encourages us to honor the past, celebrate the present, and focus on the future; and

Whereas, "Expression of Grace" encourages all Americans to observe "Women of History" with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities that highlight the extraordinary achievements of women throughout history, while recognizing the equally significant obstacles they had to overcome. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, celebrate everyday women through "Expression of Grace" and recognize the vision and contribution of Ralphine Bennett Boston as she leads the charge to honor the power and achievement of everyday women.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Ralphine Bennett Boston.
