TO CONGRATULATE THE J.L. MANN HIGH SCHOOL LADY PATRIOTS LACROSSE TEAM, OF GREENVILLE COUNTY, ON ITS IMPRESSIVE WIN OF THE 2007 SOUTH CAROLINA LACROSSE LEAGUE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE, AND TO HONOR THE PLAYERS, COACH KRISTY SCHUMACHER, AND ASSISTANT COACH B.C. BANDS ON AN OUTSTANDING SEASON.
Whereas, the J.L. Mann High School girls lacrosse team capped its memorable season by capturing the 2007 South Carolina Lacrosse League State Championship title, defeating a feisty Eastside High School team 10-8; and
Whereas, exhibiting teamwork, dedication, tenacity, and ability, the J.L. Mann Lady Patriots achieved this sweet victory back to back with last year's state title win, also against Eastside; and
Whereas, under the able leadership of Coach Kristy Schumacher and Assistant Coach B.C. Bands, the Lady Patriots brought deserved acclamation not only upon themselves but also upon the entire J.L. Mann High School community and the State of South Carolina at large; and
Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives take great pleasure in recognizing the noteworthy achievements of such exceptional young women as those on the J.L. Mann High School Lady Patriots lacrosse team. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate the J.L. Mann High School Lady Patriots lacrosse team, of Greenville County, on its impressive win of the 2007 South Carolina Lacrosse League State Championship title, and honor the players, Coach Kristy Schumacher, and Assistant Coach B.C. Bands on an outstanding season.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the J.L. Mann High School Lady Patriots lacrosse team, Coach Kristy Schumacher, and Assistant Coach B.C. Bands.
