The Senate assembled at 11:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned, and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator COURSON.

MOTION ADOPTED

On motion of Senator KNOTTS, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Mr. John Franklin Forrester of Columbia, S.C., former owner of the Capitol Restaurant, a landmark in Columbia frequented by legislators and lobbyists.

ADJOURNMENT

At 11:07 A.M., on motion of Senator SHEHEEN, the Senate adjourned to meet next Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at 12:00 Noon.
