Prior to debate on the 1009-2010 GAB, the Senate would address the issue of public education funding formulas and inequities so that the Senate does not attempt to redirect monies to specific school districts at the expense of all school districts during next year's floor debate on the budget (Hutto)

Any General Fund surplus certified by the Comptroller Gen. following the close of FY 2008 should be appropriated in the order of priority: safety provisions for law enforcement agency personnel, tourism promotion and the Dept. of Commerce closing fund (Ryberg)
