A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES TO SUSPEND THE ENFORCEMENT OF CERTAIN CHILDCARE CENTER STAFF-CHILD RATIO REGULATIONS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department of Social Services shall keep the staff-child ratio levels in Regulation 114-504(B), 114-504(C), 114-524(B) and 114-524(C) in place on June 23, 2009, effective through June 30, 2010.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
