TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE BUILDING CODES COUNCIL, RELATING TO DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DEPARTMENT, AND MODULAR BUILDINGS CONSTRUCTION, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 4226, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Building Codes Council, relating to Duties and Responsibilities of Department, and Modular Buildings Construction, designated as Regulation Document Number 4226, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
To satisfy the requirements of licensure in the field of building codes, Regulations 8-225 and 8-600 through 8-628 are updated in conformance with the current Building Codes Council Practice Act.
