A BILL

TO AMEND ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 3, TITLE 41 OF THE 1976 CODE, BY ADDING SECTION 41-3-45 TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION SHALL REQUIRE ALL LICENSE APPLICATIONS TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY A FINANCIAL STATEMENT.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Article 1, Chapter 3, Title 41 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 41-3-45.    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation shall require all license applications to be accompanied by a financial statement."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
