VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO AMEND SECTION 1-11-720, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO ENTITIES WHOSE EMPLOYEES AND RETIREES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE STATE HEALTH AND DENTAL INSURANCE PLANS, SO AS TO INCLUDE AND MAKE ELIGIBLE A BUSINESS WITH NO MORE THAN TWENTY-FIVE FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 1-11-720(A) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 353 of 2008, is further amended by adding an appropriately numbered item at the end to read:
"( ) a business with no more than twenty-five full-time employees. For purposes of this item, 'full-time' has the same meaning as provided in Section 12-6-3360."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
