A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE ELLIOTT REALTY OF HORRY COUNTY UPON THE OCCASION OF THE GRAND OPENING OF ITS NEW LOCATION IN MYRTLE BEACH.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to learn that the growth of Elliott Realty has led to its opening of a new office in Myrtle Beach on Thursday, June 16, 2011, to serve the needs of vacationers and homeowners in the Myrtle Beach community; and

Whereas, located on Oak Street in downtown Myrtle Beach near the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, the rental and sales staffs of Elliott Realty will assist homeowners in the marketing and management of their vacation rental properties, and help tourists secure vacation lodging in the Grand Strand area; and

Whereas, tourism plays a vital role in the South Carolina economy, and for over fifty years Elliott Realty has assisted the tourism trade in this state by providing homeowners and vacationers in North Myrtle Beach with quality service, and the opening of its new office signals the company's ongoing and expanding role in the South Carolina tourism trade; and

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are grateful for the economic impact that Myrtle Beach Vacation Rentals will have on the tourism industry in the Palmetto State and for the standard of excellence Elliott Reality has set in the real estate industry. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate Elliott Realty of Horry County upon the occasion of the grand opening of its new location in Myrtle Beach.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Rick Elliott of Elliott Realty.
