TO EXTEND THE EXPIRED LICENSE OF ANY COSMETOLOGIST, ESTHETICIAN, NAIL TECHNICIAN, OR INSTRUCTOR WHOSE LICENSE EXPIRED ON MARCH 10, 2013, UNTIL JUNE 10, 2013, SO THAT THE APPROPRIATE CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS MAY BE MET FOR LICENSURE RENEWAL.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any cosmetologist, esthetician, nail technician, or instructor whose license expired on March 10, 2013, may continue to practice until June 10, 2013, so that the appropriate continuing education requirements may be met for licensure renewal.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
