A BILL

TO AMEND ACT 536 OF 1986, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO DORCHESTER COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOUR BOARD OF TRUSTEES, SO AS TO REAPPORTION THE SPECIFIC ELECTION DISTRICTS FROM WHICH MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MUST BE ELECTED BEGINNING WITH SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS IN 2014, TO DESIGNATE THE MAP NUMBER ON WHICH THESE DISTRICTS MAY BE FOUND, AND TO PROVIDE DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION REGARDING THE REAPPORTIONED ELECTION DISTRICTS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 1A of Act 536 of 1986, as added by Act 592 of 1992, is amended to read:

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
